Intended Audience
These activities have been developed for psychiatrists preparing to take the written boards and for psychiatrists seeking a comprehensive update.
Activity Goals and Needs
Each year a significant number of those taking the Psychiatry Boards fail in their efforts to pass.

Clinical Neurology for Psychiatrists and Psychiatry for Psychiatrists: The Pre-Test offers 5 intensive days to assist those preparing for written board examinations.

These courses are designed to prepare attendees for Boards and other examinations and as a review of modern neurology. Attendees will improve their diagnostic skills and be brought up-to-date in several aspects of neurologic and psychiatric disorders. In the Psychiatry for Psychiatrists: The Pre-Test 2-day course, a small group of faculty who are experienced and well informaed about modern psychiatry and test-taking strategies will present essential information through a series of test-type questions, using the anonymous audience response system keypads. Faculty will review responses and reinforce correct answers utilizing discussions and explanations.

In addition, both courses offer an excellent opportunity for those seeking a comprehensive update in topics of clinical neurology and psychiatry to increase their knowledge.
