This activity has been developed for psychiatrists preparing to take the written recertification board exam and for psychiatrists seeking a comprehensive update on diagnoisis and evidenced-based treatment modalities. |
As of the year 2003, The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology instituted a new policy requiring all psychiatrists who were board certified after October 1, 1994 to pass a written recertification exam every 10 years. The Maintenance of Certification: The Recert Course, offers 2 intensive days to assist those preparing for written recertification board examinations and those seeking an update in diagnostic techniques and evidence-based medicine. Presentation of the material will be in mixed format, with both lecture and question and answer, using anonymous audience response system keypads. Faculty will review responses and reinforce correct answers utilizing discussions and explanations. For schedule, hotel information, and course description, please log onto www.cnfp.org |
At the conclusion of these activities, participants will be better prepared to pass the Psychiatry Recertification Written Board Exam and to provide better medical care to their patients. |
