General surgeons who are preparing for recertification.
Activity Goals and Needs
For over four decades, the Intensive Surgery Review Course has assisted surgeons in preparing for successful performance on the Written Board Examination. The course consists of five full days of presentation on the major content areas that the American Board of Surgery has deemed as essential knowledge. Each attendee will receive a thorough and concise review of the content areas, delivered by expert faculty, in a supportive atmosphere, with ample time for questions, discussion and interchange. Many physicians like to take this course as a comprehensive review in general surgry.

The goal of this activity is to prepare general surgeons to successfully complete the Anerican Board of Surgery Recertification Examination.
Educational Objectives
The learner will feel confident in having had adequate preparation to pass the American Board of Surgery Examination. The learner will gain insight to the most recent approaches to clinical surgical problems and challenges, improving current standards of practice in general surgery.
